Edirol FA as a Gig roland edirol fa-66 I picked this unit up off EBay because I needed a reliable and rugged audio interface to play soft synths through on my gigs. They also own Sonar, so they know a thing or two about computer audio. As long as the drivers are well written and it isn’t the cheapest piece of crap audio card around the latency shouldn’t ever be an issue. Other than that, I roland edirol fa-66 no complaints. As roland edirol fa-66 latency it’s as good as anything else around, i wouldn’t get hung up on that. From what i read before i bought the fa the preamps are pretty well regarded, not sure about the Native Instruments thing.
Last edited by pirco; 9th February at I have not tried the spdif record roland edirol fa-66, and so I cannot confirm that it is true digital, which my E-MU is not! I’m also happy with my FA in combination with my macbook.

It’s a sturdy box which i fully believe would survive many gigs. Built for DJs but might ediro, your needs too. I’m also using it live in my band with Roland edirol fa-66, which goes really well.
