Yea, according to Intel the support was discontinued after XP so no drivers. It’s easy to join and it’s free. Found an old FX and installed so the video issues are no more. Vista tells me its incompatible and doesn’t install at all. Yes Ive checked emachines website, they don’t even have Vista listed in the DL section.

DrBob, no problem, even though Intel said that it would provide a driver for Vista with no AERO support, due to hardware limitations they never did Vista tells me its incompatible and doesn’t install at all. Was more worried about the video as I think I can get the Audio driver either from Realtek or Driverguide after popping emacjines open to get the s off it. I know in XP you could pick whatever driver you wanted and tell it to install with it giving a warning but eventually installing it.

So, either I need to know how to force install in Vista, or actually find the video driver for Vista 64 bit, which I think doesnt exist according to any post on the net Ive found.
